Scholarship Info- The Washington County Cattlemen’s Association is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior. Requirements include being a Washington County resident, parents being a Washington County Cattlemen’s member, or if living outside the county, the applicant’s parents must be WCCA members. The award is for any college whose recipient is majoring in an agricultural field. See the counseling office for information on the application process. Applications are due by February 1, 2020.
Iowa 4-H Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships- Iowa 4-H members are eligible to apply for 4-H scholarships if they have met the individual scholarship requirements. Only ONE application form is needed for all 90 scholarships worth a total of $100,000 going ONLY to 4-H members. Eligible Iowa 4-H youth may apply for more than one scholarship, however, only one scholarship per individual will be awarded per academic year. Hills Bank & Leadership Grant for Juniors- Juniors - be sure to check out the 2021 Hills Bank & Trust Leadership Grant scholarship program for $1000. It’s a unique opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills and earn a college scholarship from 4-H! You do not need to be a current Iowa 4-H member to apply for this program. All application materials must be received through online submission by March 1, 2021 for consideration. No School- January 15th and Monday, January 18th are no school days for students. Friday is a teacher professional day and Monday is Martin Luther King holiday.
Schedules- Students should check 3rd term schedules. Only students with a waiver listed for 5th block are able to be out of the building during that time.
