Scholarship- HyVee offers college scholarships to students with one requirement relating to current employment. Students should look at www.hy-vee.com to find out all eligibility requirements.
Local Scholarship Application- Seniors: The Local Scholarship Application is due to the WHS Counseling Office on January 11 at 3:45. There are no exceptions to this deadline. If you are going straight to a post secondary program from high school, please complete this application!
Public Library- All through November we will be promoting National Novel Writing Month at the library. There will also be a student art gallery display through November 30th. If any students would like to enter artwork into the display, please drop off submissions with student name and phone number at the circulation desk.
Weight Room Hours- Weight room times are Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:15 am and Monday and Wednesday at 3:40 pm.
Turkey Bowling- Due to tie games and bowl offs to see who advances, there will be a bowl off after break between Mr. Roder and Mrs. Stadlander's advisories. All other bowl offs and staff bowl will happen after break. Intentional hard throws and you are out of the competition.
Seniors- Monday, Nov 19 & Tuesday, Nov 20, all seniors are scheduled to take the online Work Keys Assessment in the Auxiliary Gym either in the morning or afternoon. Please open the attachment below to see your scheduled time. If you have a conflict, please come to the counseling office to request a change. Basketball Cheer- Anyone interested in basketball cheer please stop in the library and talk to Ms Smith.
Seniors- Seniors should stop by the office to check the spelling of names as they will appear on diplomas. Names should be exactly as printed on the birth certificate.
Sophomores- ATTENTION 10th Grade Students: Please sign up for your Career Academy Choices on Schoology before Thanksgiving Break.
Youth Salute Recognition- Hills Bank is featuring several students from Washington, as well as other communities, on Youth Salute boards in their lobby until Monday, November 19th.
From the Kitchen- This week's salad choice will be Oriental Chicken and Greek. The parfait flavor will be Strawberry Banana.
From Ms. Riley- The following students need to return their Child Development textbook to Ms. Riley: Bailey Brown and Ewaun Gardner.
College Reps- -University of Wisconsin Platteville will be visiting December 6th from 11:40 - 1:00.
Silver Cord Opportunity- Ticket taking for the Tour of Homes. Saturday, December 1 or Sunday, December 2. Shifts are 2 hours and you receive a free ticket to the tour. Stop in the library and sign up with Ms. Smith.
